Cute Tom and Tara got married on January 13th, 2018. It was a beautiful day with surprisingly good weather. Their family was so sweet and it was so fun to get to know Tom, Tara, and their family and friends.
I've always loved the pictures my brother's photographer got on their wedding day. They have a gorgeous shot that makes the temple look huge! I stared at the picture a lot trying to figure out what made it so HUGE. I finally realized it was compression! Compression is basically something that comes with certain lens lengths. The compression brings the background right up next to your subject- hence making the temple look extra giant. I decided to give it a shot at Tom & Tara's wedding and I am so happy with how it turned out! The temple looks pretty big, so I'd say its a mission accomplished.
Tom and Tara are seriously the sweetest couple. Tara is a sweetheart and so kind all day, and Tom was very kind and sweet to her. You could feel the love they had for eachother during their first dance! Their smiles were so genuine. I love being able to be a part of that journey.
Okay. A few things I HAVE to tell you about. First, is their family. They have so many nieces and nephews. They were so darling and patient all day that by the time the reception rolled around I'm sure they were so hungry! I walked in to see chick-fil-a and McDonalds at the kids table! It was amazing. I was slightly jealous, but they deserved it.
I said I had a few things to say, and this is the second. When the groomsmen decorated the car, they made BABIES OUT OF BALLOONS. I kid you not. It was the funniest thing I had ever seen. Tara's brother-in-law Dallin was wrapping diapers around balloons to fill their car with. I couldn't help but laugh out loud the whole time I was shooting the decorating. It was so creative!
In all, it was seriously a fun day. So much love, happiness, and support gathered around Tom & Tara that day. It was a beautiful wedding and I was so grateful to be a part of it.
